# YDV's

Yield delegating vaults (YDVs) were introduced at the beginning of the project as a key strategy to distribute RLY to those actively contributing to the network and get the community treasury initially funded. However, as the project has matured, the Rally Network no longer needs a separate funding of the community treasury through YDVs, plus the risk profile of the Yearn vaults has changed. The YDVs were retired by the Rally community in February 2021.
